📅 IDEXX Tour

On April 17th Maine SWE was treated to a tour of some of the production facilities at IDEXX Laboratories’ at their headquarters in Westbrook Maine!

Associate Director of Manufacturing Engineering Mark Baranyi and our very own Izzie Grant (New Product Transfer Engineer II at IDEXX), provided us with a fascinating and engaging peek into the world of veterinary diagnostic device manufacturing. It was indeed a treat to be able learn some of the theory behind the technologies, and to see the automation stations for the snap-test devices actively doing their part in the manufacturing and testing processes.
